Sportswear or active wear encompasses clothing worn to work out in gyms, to participate in sports or sports training, to yoga fitness, to conventional sweat suits. Active wear sport-specific garments include shorts, tracksuits, T-shirts, swimsuits, tennis and polo shirts. It also includes some underwear, such as the jockstrap and sports bra. In team of sports the opposite sides are usually identified by the colors of their clothing, while individual team members can be recognized by a back number on a shirt. Active wear is versatile because, unlike traditional sportswear, these garments can be worn across sporting disciplines and still get the job done.
